In my work I use photographer’s tools to explore the relation between art and context, image and ideology. More than to produce images I am interested in exploring the material condition (physical and economical) of art and photography and its position on the social context. The images I produce don’t pretend to persuade, to explain or to moralize and they try to build with the audience a different relationship than the authoritarian one that we are used by the industry of desire, information, science and art.

Trough the exploration of the mechanism of vision, the works invites the observer to confront with his/her own cultural baggage that informs his/her personal point of view; and is though vision that the observer explores the meaning of the work and helps in it’s realization. As Giulio Paolini stated, the artist is just the first spectator.
