The video piece consists of shots of different things and beings which Andro Semeiko has encountered during the first week of June 2005. Similarly to his series of paintings 'The Order of Objects', these shots are put together so that they seem to have dialogues with each other. Each shot starts to behave like a word in a sentence. Whether meaning emerges remains ambiguous. They are placed next to each other in terms of their formal differences and similarities in shape, colour and form. The sound of a human breathing has been put on top of the original sound of each shot. It is meant to remind the viewer that every scene and experience is received through his/her limited prism of senses. |
